CATINO, Anthony C. (Tony), age 75 of Medford, passed away peacefully on July 9. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Yolanda (Mercurio) Catino.  Beloved brother of Joseph Catino and his wife Karen of North Attleboro, and brother of the late Nicholas Catino.  Uncle of Renee and Kyle Valdyke of Cumberland, RI, and great uncle of Max Valdyke. Beloved cousin and ward of Richard Catino and his wife Patricia of Medford. 

Anthony is also survived by a large number of loving cousins including Michael and Kathy Catino of North Reading, Lois and the late Anthony P. Catino of Medford, Anna-Marie and late Salvatore Ferraro of Arlington, Marie and the late Donald Roth of WI, the late Edna May  and Donald Rober of AZ,  Elaine and Dominic Morello of NH, the late Louise Mercurio of Everett, Grace and the late Nicholas Mercurio of Framingham, the late Anna Marie and Robert Kelly of Harwich, Claire DeStefano and the late Vincent DeStefano of Salem, Patricia and the late Alfred Mercurio of Reading,  the late Vincent and Mary Limauro of NC,  the late Rita Limauro of Pembroke, Thomas Minichiello of GA, Paul and Anne Minichiello of FL, Albert and Barbara Minichiello of Andover, and many other cousins of multiple generations.

Anthony attended Shore Collaborative in Chelsea for many years, where he made many friends and served as the resident disk jockey.  He was a resident of Cooperative for Human Services and NuPath where his laugh, DJ services and vast collection of 45’s will be missed.  He is also survived by the many truly wonderful people who supported him throughout his years, and by those whose lives were blessed by the opportunity of crossing paths with Tony.

Visiting hours will be held in the Gaffey Funeral Home, 43 High Street, Medford on Thursday, July 13 from 4 to 8 pm.  Funeral from Gaffey Funeral Home on Friday, July 14 at 10:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church, 114 High Street, Medford, at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.  Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
