Mary “Patsy” Sanderson Gallant (Little) passed from this world to the next on July 3. She was 84 years old. Patsy loved and was loved by many. Her positive outlook, ready smile, kind heart, and strength in the face of adversity made her a hero to her children and a friend to all who knew her. Patsy is survived by her children Jeannette Sanderson, Yvonne Sanderson-Moschella, Suzanne Hepner, Heidi Sanderson, and Sean Sanderson along with their spouses, Glenn Davis and Eric Hepner. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Williams, and sisters-in-law Dora Little and Anne Little. She is survived by 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as scores of friends. She is predeceased by her mother and father, Catherine (Lynch) and Richard Little, as well as her brothers Richard and John Little. Patsy grew up in Medford and Somerville. As a single mom, Patsy raised five children in Medford. As an adult, she went back to college. She was the school secretary at the Advent School in Boston for many years. She remarried late in life and moved to Largo, FL. Her beloved husband, Walter Gallant, predeceased her, but he left her with two loving step-daughters, Jeaneen McLeod and Kerri Grenier. Family and friends are invited to a viewing held in the Gaffey Funeral Home, 43 High St., Medford, on Friday, July 6, from 4 pm to 8 pm.
